Let’s talk about haircare. Keeping your hair healthy and germs-free is really a tough task. To make things easier for you, here are some tips that will curb your hair problems and make them soft and shiny.

  1. Include multivitamins in your diet
Certain vitamins keep your hair healthy. Biotin, Vitamin A and E, pantothenic acid, and inositol are considered as the best five vitamins for strong hair. So, from now, do not avoid lentils, oats, carrots, spinach, eggs beans, citrus fruits, etc.
  2. Get an appropriate haircut –For professional nurses, it is a must to have a cut that goes well with their hair texture. If you have curly or wavy hair, opt for short to medium length. Rather than layering, you can style your curls with fingertips. Nurses with straight hair should not go for excessive layering as it may make their strands look thinner. Instead of short, long hair will suit you more.
  3. Dry Shampoo
Dry shampooing is the best solution for nurses as they can’t leave their hair without washing for more than 1 or 2 days. It absorbs excess oils, gives hair a lift and also adds volume.
  4. Oiling and Massage
A massage with oil is a must for perfect blood circulation, and it results in hair growth. Moreover, oiling prevents bacterial and fungal infections. If you wish for glossy and smooth hair, opt for coconut or olive oil as these oils nourish them deeply.
  5. Use conditioner but do not over-condition your strands
You must use natural conditioners after shampooing your hair to prevent your scalp from dryness. Avoid chemical-laden conditioners as they may damage your hair and make them dull. Also, there is no need to leave it in your hair for hours.
  6. Trimming
Split ends can affect the health and look of your hair. Trimming is an important part of your hair care routine. If you have long strands, get them trimmed every 8 to 12 weeks. If your hair is more susceptible to split ends and breakage, you can go for trimming every 6 to 8 weeks.
