1. Exceptional Nurse Scholarship
Amount: Varied
Deadline:  June 1, 2017

There are several scholarships available by Exceptional Nurse, with amounts varying from $250 to $500. All open to students with disabilities. If you have a disability, these can be a great way to support yourself while you study.
2. British Essay Writing Contest
Amount: First place £3500, second place £2500, third place £2000
Deadline: May 31, 2017

If you’re good at turning out essays, this competition by UK coursework service is worth checking out. Pick a topic from the ones available on the site, and write an essay up to 900 words long. If you’re as good as you think you are, you can make a nice amount towards your school funds.
3. Gallagher Student Health Careers Scholarship Program
Amount: $7500
Deadline: May 6, 2017

There are quite a few requirements to be considered for this program by Gallagher Student, but the money on offer makes it worth it. Six (6) scholarships are available, so it’s well worth your while applying.
4. Boom Essays Writing Contest
Amount: First prize $2000, second prize £1500, third prize $1000
Deadline: March 1, 2017

This contest focuses on academic subjects. If you have opinions about how the school system runs, you may have a chance at winning this contest. Have a go, you may just win!
5. AfterCollege Scholarship Fund
Amount: $2500 each quarter
Deadline: September 30 and December 31, 2017

This scholarship is designed for anyone pursuing a qualification in nursing. However, the website states that special consideration will be given to people looking to get into nursing education.
6. Australian Essay Writing Contest
Amount: First prize $3000, second prize $2500, third prize $1500
Deadline: March 1, 2017

Although this is an international contest launched by Sydney service, those in other countries are more than welcome to enter. Write an essay of up to 800 words on one of the topics provided, and you could be in with a chance of winning.
7. ANCA Scholarship
Amount: Varied
Deadline: To be confirmed

This scholarship can be awarded to students who are currently or previously worked in the US army, are not receiving funding currently from the army, or have received an Honorable Discharge. The page will have more information when it becomes available.
8. ACLS Recertification Healthcare Training Scholarship Plan
Amount: $2000
Deadline: December 31, 2016

This scholarship is awarded to the person what can write the best essay. You have 500-1000 words to write about providing life saving medical treatment. If you haven’t had the chance to provide this yet, write about how you feel about having to provide it in the future.
9. ACLS Medical Training Scholarship Program
Amount: $1000
Deadline: December 31, 2016

This scholarship is similar to the one above, as you’re asked to write an essay about you had to give life saving support during a medical emergency. Talk about what you did during the incident, and how you felt about being in that position. Again, you have 500-1000 words to wow the judges.

10. Prime Medical Alert

Amount: $1000
Deadline: Renews each semester with revolving deadlines of December 15 and July 31

The Prime Scholarship is for students intending to pursue a career as a nurse upon graduation. The scholarship is open to applicants working toward a two year or four year college degree.
