5 Times Nurses Stole the Heart of their Patients

  1. The Singing Nurse
Some people have the gift of healing with their voice. They sing with so much emotion attached that it touches the heart of their patients and makes a huge difference. Jared Axen, who is also known as the “singing nurse”, used his most valuable instrument by singing Margaret Whiting’s Time After Time.
  2. Spooky Halloween?
Picking out the best costume for kids is definitely our favorite part of Halloween. NICU nurses of Loyola Marymount University put their creative hats on and hand-crafted each of these adorable outfits for the newborn babies. Don’t you just wish you could take a sip of coffee from this Starbucks cup?

  3. Sing-a-Long with Elsa
It breaks our heart to see our little patients suffer from cancer. As nurses, it is our duty to lift their spirits and bring a smile to their face. This group of nurses from Glasgow’s New Royal Hospital went all out to dress up as characters from Disney’s Frozen. Just look at the cutie’s smile! There’s no better way to brighten up their day than this.

  4. No Less than a Superhero
Nursing is a 24/7 job. A 10-year old boy named Elijah Olivas was severely hurt in a car crash. Luckily, an off-duty EMT and a nurse were there to help them immediately. Talk about angels in disguise!

  5. Here Comes the Bride!
We’ve all had our crushes and puppy loves. So does this 4-year old girl! Leukemia didn’t stop her from dreaming that she would marry her male nurse, Matt Hickling. Everything happened quickly and a wedding was planned within 12 hours. There was a beautiful white dress, flowers, bridesmaids and even a ring bearer.
